Preparing industry to deliver low carbon infrastructure
The NSW Government has committed to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
Infrastructure NSW, on behalf of the NSW Government, developed a survey to assess industry readiness to support implementation of the newly released Decarbonising Infrastructure Delivery Policy.
The Policy will ensure that upfront carbon – the emissions generated during the production of materials and the construction of infrastructure assets – is measured consistently on NSW Government projects. Building projects with a value of more than $50 million and infrastructure projects above $100 million will be captured.
The survey is now closed. Data collected through the survey will inform a capability uplift and training program to ensure the right people are upskilled before the policy becomes operational in April 2025. Thank you to all respondents who participated in the survey.
