Elena Potenza

Elena Potenza is the principal of a strategic advisory and consultancy business specialising in infrastructure.

With more than 35 years’ experience across the construction, property, transport and infrastructure sectors, Elena commenced her career as a site engineer and rose to senior executive roles in major ASX-listed entities. 

She has extensive experience in leading development and commercial transaction management for multi-billion-dollar portfolio of major civil infrastructure and property projects across Australia. Her experience includes strategy, public–private partnerships (PPP), complex commercial structuring and the formation of international joint ventures.

Elena has held a range of board and advisory appointments spanning industry association, government, and construction organisations. She has represented organisations on major infrastructure project boards and is a regular guest speaker on construction and leadership. She is also a member of the Infrastructure NSW Audit and Risk Committee.

Elena holds a Bachelor of Building (Hons) and a Master of Commerce (Land Economy), together with executive and leadership certifications from INSEAD and Stanford University. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Oceania.
